    I know this is a car website and all but this is a natural disaster and we should help them because they are our fellow human beings. It doesn’t mater what they export. Because if it did, I would be pissed, they’ve been holding out on us for decades.

    I have to admit, I took a good long look at my Subaru today and wondered if the person/people who designed it, built its components etc. were all still okay after today. I hope they are.

    I know this is a car blog and all, but while we spend so much time being rightfully concerned about our friends in Japan (presumably because they make lots of cars there), let’s not forget those who lost their lives in the recent Christchurch earthquake. Just because they don’t make cars, their suffering is not lessened.

    I don’t see what manufacturing automobiles has to do with anything. I think we should have compassion toward all humans regardless of how much they may have contributed to our driveways.

    I’m sure that wasn’t exactly the point, but it kind of read that way. At least we all can surely reach the same conclusion.

    There’s always a sob trying to take advantage out other people’s disgrace !
    If they need food in Japan let me know where to drop it, but I’m not handing cash to any institution that is not clean specially when it comes to declare their taxes and you see that not everything that they receive goes back t the people that you are trying to help…

    That has a lot less to do with the Red Cross than it has to do with the corrupt Haiti government.

    They also wanted to charge import duties on all of the supplies we airlifted to them…

    What about all the money that was donated to Haiti through Red Cross and never got there ?
