We may or may not be living in the Age of Anxiety. (We may instead be living in the Age of Xanax.) But fears and neuroses and guilts are still too common a part of everyday life. More »

It was all you! You earned it. Check it off your list, adopt a bad Russian accent and say,
“Now to take care of pesky Moose and Squirrel!”

I would argue that a bottle or Widmer’s Drifter Pale Ale goes equally well, or Widmer’s Citra Blonde… But on a hot day, very few things are as refreshing as a can of Tecate. I had 120 cans of it at my wedding. I can’t hate it too much.

I *still* have not seen that movie. The comic book geek in me is ashamed to admit as much.

‘Obfuscating’…huh, huhuhuhuhuh, huh, huh.

It’s brand new. Shipped in the last week or two. It’s a seasonal, so it’s only around for the next 2-3 months.

See? We all learned something.

I’ve had Sierra Nevada Pale Ale before, but haven’t run into the Ruthless Rye. I’ll keep an eye out – love those hops.

I thought the verb form of the word ‘Dragon’ involved a car and an individual… but in a different order.
Seems I just haven’t lived.

Haha! I still miss those, even years after I quit.

Heh, heh, heheheheh…you said ‘obfuscating’…heh, heh, heheheheheheh

That was my motto for years. Then I discovered what hops actually tasted like.
If you are actually into hops and IPA’s (which have been the apple of my metaphorical eye) check out the new seasonal from Sierra Nevada if you are ANYWHERE in their distribution range. (which is, I believe, almost all of continental North America). I’ll feature this one on here later (when appropriate), but Ruthless Rye is pretty tasty. Not the best IPA in the world, but a damn nice one. Has a bit of rye to spice up the taste and plenty of hops to keep you busy.

There looks to certainly be an obfuscating layer of shame and monetary loss in that… situation.

Congratulations, Mr. InvisibleEcho, on today’s COTD! My award to you is a Mini which this lovely lady will bring to you when she gets off her hands and knees.

Congratulations InvisibleEcho on your concise and spendthrift COTD.
I was all set to award one of my recent finds, but they all come into play above the poverty line. So being budget minded, I award you a small trove of Tecate in cans. Tecate was my broke beer of choice for many many years. If I could only afford a small amount of my budget on beer, but still truly desired some. I had no other choice that was still palatable. In that mindset, I present these to you!
Congratulations again!
Gamecat235
After that, it sounds like you need one of these…just don’t catch anything on fire!
