Lanier: I guess it was back when FWD was a sort of dinstiction status like the Toronado and Eldorado until GM go full speed ahead with the FWD X-car Citation and the A-body derivative Celebrity/Ciera/6000 and Century who switched to FWD. Hard to believe today then the FWD Riviera who had a optionnal turbo V6 was chosen “Car of the year 1979″ by Motor Trend.
