@Elhigh: A professional installer would likely have access to a welder instead of needing 175 packages of JB Weld, so that’s a plus with major modifications of this type.

BTW, the roll bar looks like it is nearly pointless. Hopefully it has more bracing than it appears to.

Well, I always wonder about that phrase, “professionally installed.” You pay a guy to do a job, you’ve hired him. If he does it more than once, the “professional” statement starts to gain some weight.
That doesn’t mean it was done well.
I’d have to spend some time around it. I want it to be good. A 302 in a P1800 would be the greatest combination, serious motivation to go with stunning athletic looks, like Allison Stokke rendered as a car.
But I’d have to check it out. And for $13K, I could do as well on my own time, and live with my own screwups.
