We’ve almost reached the end of Forzalopnik Week, and it’s time to get down to brass tacks: The Golden Ticket cars need you. This is your last chance — get out the vote!
It’s been an interesting week. We’ve seen a flurry of passionate voting, we’ve brought the Internet to our door, and we’ve learned that it’s possible for a grown man to live for a week on cheese doodles and two hours of sleep. We have also witnessed the power of the the scorched-earth vote-hack and its ability to render all our efforts moot. (Attention, Ford Probe guys — when I said that you should “hack your way across the digital wilderness,” I meant that you should use the Internet to stir up enthusiasm in any way possible, not cheat wildly and in an obvious fashion. I applaud your enthusiasm, but a little restraint goes a long way.)
Nevertheless, zero hour draws near. Which cars will make it into the final pack? What will become of the once-lost, now-found Volvo 242 Group A Homologation? Who says the Mitsubishi Starion is anything less than a rock star? And why am I asking so many questions?
We hope you had a good time. If your favorite sled doesn’t make it into the final list, it’s not the end of the world — most of these are damn fine choices. Vote your grease-stained little hearts out. Viva Starion. Viva Ticket. Viva Forza.
