- A German twist on an Italian sports car.
- A matte-black exterior finish is complemented by gloss-black rims and a black leather interior with contrasting red stitching.
- Anderson boosts output on the 4.7-liter V8 from 440 to 492 horsepower.
DUSSELDORF, Germany — Who better to tweak an Italian exotic car than a German tuner? Anderson Germany steps up to the plate with its take on the Maserati GranTurismo S, dubbed Superior Black Edition.
The key word is black — as in the matte-black exterior finish, gloss-black grille and window frames, black tinted head- and taillamps and gloss-black 21-inch rims wrapped in low-profile rubber.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather with contrasting red stitching and accented in carbon fiber.
To give the car an even more wicked look, Anderson has lowered the suspension, then tricked out the exterior with carbon-fiber mirrors, air intakes and a lip spoiler.
Among the “gentle corrections” it has made to the Maserati 4.7-liter V8, Anderson has fiddled with the ECU and fitted a sport exhaust system, resulting in an increase in output from 440 to 492 horsepower.
