*** I sell these on e bay. Type in “Diesel HD300D”. I bought a bunch of these engines to experiment with B20+ (20% Biodiesel) home Biodiesel production (for better lubricity). Heavy Duty 6hp HD300D max 4.4kW diesel engine. 296cc putting out 4kv of continuous output. 1″ shaft turning clockwise from the fly wheel end. 3.5L (.925gal) capacity. Engine dry weight is 33kg or 72lbs. The motor as seen runs smoother at the higher rpm’s. It is a beast with torque and is a great motor for the DIY person. I will post other applications for this motor in the future. The “Throttle Bracket” is spring loaded so you can set up a throttle cable to a handlebar or foot pedal if you like. DEK, Changfa and Winsun seem to be the best Chinese engines of this type.
I’d think these chinese clone engines are ok for light use, but for heavier use use a real Yanmar or Hatz.

Not true not all diesels are fuel injected. Practical diesels, yes however there exist model glow fueled engines which can be converted to run carbed. In this case the compression actuated by an adjustable screw dictates timing and ignition for the power stroke. But because these engines serve no industrial practical purpose, yes all diesels are fuel injected.

@MrSummit10 that would be some go kart but itd be pretty damn cool and have a ton of foot pounds or torque even with six horse engine itd be stronger than a gasoline
can you put a cetrafugal cluch one these motors? and what size it the output shaft?
is there any smaller size? do you know if this engine will mount to a McClane reel lawnmower?

I have had one of these Chinese made diesel engines for about 3 or 4 years. When I first started it up I did so with regular diesel and ran it for about one hour. I changed the oil and filled the fuel tank with waste veggie oil and that is what I have run it on ever since. It starts right up every time and doesn’t smoke at all except when it fires up…. but it is extremely noisy.
Mine is hooked up to a 10,000 watt generator head, and the entire unit works well.
