Thats all well and good however the R8 has far superior handling, comfort and ride quality. So in that case the 911 turbo of $20k+ is you paying for a big engine in a car that oversteers with significant rear end drift instead of a car which is AWD with far far better handling.
base price for a Porsche C4S is $95K
The Audi R8 $114K
$20,000 – that’s a substantial difference for = performance
The 911 Turbo base is $132, and that $20k difference has the 911 destroying the R8
And the C4S isn’t? What do you think the 4 stands for?

its laughably amazing… understand, he is not trying to blow away anyone, but to have a super fun drive… and boy does he make driving look fun. Case and point: the huge smile on his and my face whenever he enters a corner.
@rocknrollman1234 i disagree price wise they are really similar here in germany….a 4s will cost up to about 130k+ which is about the same for the r8 (the one @ audi atm is 137k)

Tiff with his dumb turns. He can’t keep the tail under in any car. Watch him drive an evo X, it’s laughably terrible.
technically you are right, but they’ve been beating almost everyone on racetracks for over 40 years so I guess sometimes, it pays to be wrong lol
it’s the 4.2 R8, here in canada it’s actually about the same price (about)

It should have been R8 vs 911 turbo, since they’re more evenly matched price wise.
Like i’ve always said the engine is in the wrong place in the porsche.

i think the r8 is more head turning and more supercar like in my opinion
