@Quattroowner FISA insisted from the beginning of 1985 that evolutions were denominated by the number of the evolution after the letter “E”
I went with the official official name(s) not with what Audi called them. Martin Holmes “world of rally” from 1985 also calls it the E2. I know i probabley confussed a few pepple. What you said is spot on.
@Marvdogger E2 is the later FIA “Name” . Audi called it Audi Sport Quattro ( no wings ) , and Audi Sport Quattro S1 .
@Marvdogger Indeed the Car has a big turbo lag , it ´s a question on how to drive the car . If you start the normal way ( from idle ) you have to wait until it reaches 4000 RPM , but after that ………

2:00 is my favorite bit. Sport Quattro S1 accelerating from a standstill. Not much sign of turbo Lag.

I started the next part two weeks ago but hav’nt done any work on it since then, I’ve only done about 1 minute off footage so far. Should be done in for mid July.

The Audi Sport Quattro E2 is the one with all the wings there was only one. The S1 was the sport Quattro everyone just calls it the sport Quattro though.
plus, i think, s1 had 2 versions, S1 and S1 evo2 with more horsepower.
Im confused here. audi sport quattro and audi sport quattro S1 is not quite the same right? S1 must be with huge wings and better weight disibution,and win 1985 sanremo rally. pls correct me if im wrong, im just a fan of good old days, im just born in year 88.
Maybe the S4 wont be doing the 037.

The ultimate (ex)-communist Group B monster. 1.5L 150BHP naturally aspirated engine. Of course it is not a “nightmare” as the top ones but they are still running (at least they do in my country)
