no man, that spoiler does not look hideous. The concept behind the M3 GTS is a hardcore 911 GT3 RS rival. Without a spoiler, the whole package of GTS would look hideous instead. I mean, larger piston bore, half roll cage, no rear seats, fire extinguisher, no air-con, no sound insulation, all for track purpose, and…no rear spoiler to put the power down?
The only thing hideous is its price tag of 145 grands, and the 150 planned production were all sold out in an instant.
@golferchin76 nicely put, as you may already know i already said it can do much work in the track, that’s what spoilers are good for anyways other than looking hideous.
@Verification11 Dude in regular trim a M3 is comparatively tail happy trail brake into the corner, and power out of corner. The GTS needs that wing to reduce the over-steery nature of E9x M3 chassis.

the spoiler comes from WTCC series. you can set the angle of it for perfect downforce that you can set good times on a racetrack. it’s a clubsport car.

I don’t think it’s possible to get it without the spoiler. BMW has done a lot to make sure the GTS has the perfect handling on track, so the spoiler is essential I guess.
OPINION:
although the spoiler can do so much work on the track it ruined the look of the gts for me, can u get a gts without that hideous carbon fiber spoiler ?
