Best thing about this car is the fact that this engine will be fitted to the all new F30 3 series… bringing the price down.. and most important.. the fun UP.. with the body of the 3 series over 200 kg lighter that that of the 6 series… more performance, sharper response, better acceleration, more practical ( 4 doors ) … just perfect… can`t wait for it..

God I hate this whole chat about the seats in the back! Is is a sporty car! Who cares? If you want a bigger car. get on! It is a stunning car and it would not look so good if they had changed to proportions to fit adults in the back;. You don’t criticise an elise for being small inside because it fits it’s purpose, as does this car.

How about the Merc 250 CDI Bluetec engine……………….150KW/500NM from 2.1L 4cyl. tdi…………..and substantially cheaper that this.

I’m a fan of this guys reviews, why isn’t he on the TV programme (minus the jumper)? While you’re at it, make it an hour long.
I love how everyone is dismissing it. Everyone thinks they’re some hardcore petrolhead and every diesel car is a piece of shit. When you noobs start doing more than 2000 miles a year in something bigger than your shit Corsa b you’d realise why diesels make sense.
Diesel M sport? One word – Wrong
A big luxurious coupe getting 51 mpg with 300 bhp and 0-60 in 5.5 secs. With turbo diesels getting 51 mpg, why would anyone buy a hybrid??? A diesel GTI can get close to the same mpg. Why would anybody buy a junk prius?? Turbo diesels have a lot to offer these days!! Leave it to BMW to offer an awesome car like the 640d!!!
