  1. Where are you blokes from? Around Newcastle? I’m looking into the LR4′s but want to talk to other drivers. I’m near Maitland.

  2. @RPsketcher Thanks RP. The spare is mounted on the typical spare wheel carrier. Mounted in this location anable a second spare wheel to be mounted on the opposite side.
The D4 had no problems with anything we put it through that day.

  3. Sweet Disco 4, first one I actually like the look of. Only the spare wheel seems to be positioned a little odd. What is the reason for positioning it so far to the right.

Very impressed with the performance on standard tyres, especially in mud.

  4. @alexanelena The RRS can be found on JamieOGilmore channel.

  5. @TheAndreas240 You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed.

The lifted RRS and LR3 are amazing.

  10. @dgfmoore If you haven’t already, you might want to subscribe to jamieOGilmore also. He is the owner of the RRS.

  11. @KevDrover thanks for the reply. looking forward to seeing some more of that D4. i doubt many will be taken offroad and prepped like that so i’m glad i found your channel. same with the RRS.

  12. @dgfmoore Hi, we did not set the day up as a comparison. We selected a variety of obstacles to see if it would handle them as a stock vehicle. It would not have been a fair camparison as all the other vehicles are modified. Although 1 vehicle did struggle on the hill climb, and on the muddy corner, around the 7min mark, all except for the D4 and the RRS had to push their diffs through the mud.. As far as the HDC, I am not sure whether it was activated or not.

  13. Great video! On the downhill sections why was the driver not using the hill descent control? Also you don’t show how the other vehicles compared….. Did any of them struggle at those obstacles where the D4 didn’t?

  14. Good off road sections, disco handled well. Love that there was an LC 80 on standby.

lol you dont need spotters on those roads. very cute

  16. @TheCyclosarin Stock tyres and stock suspension.

  17. @KevDrover Haha yeah. “It’ll buff out” seems to be the consensus ;-) Are they the stock tyres in this video?

  18. @TheCyclosarin The D4′s final cost was a bit more than that with the accessories fitted. It was purchased for it’s capability and safety for the family. Paint is just an optional extra, isn’t it??

  19. I know its what its made for, but scraping those ferns and branches against the panels in a $70k Land Rover would still make me grimmace, lol. How sturdy is the paint to that sort of stuff? I do it in my ’96 3 door and it doesnt hold up well, lol.

  20. @OliverWilby Thank you Oliver. We try to deliver an accurate review where ever possible.

  21. Thank you for this video, most certainly the best at showing the near stock capabilities of the Discovery 4 i’ve seen yet. I definitely like the spare on the rear door too. Excellent video

  22. I have discovery 1994 . and it’s amazing in every word.

  23. Guns n roses!

  24. @TheGuerilia Thank you for the comment. We have a lot of fun making them.
