@bigboy6969100 i hope not, i wish they could keep the mk4 supra style, modernize a few things and give a new type of engine as powerful as the 2jz. Now that would be a car i would buy,
this will be the new drifting toy in the US. The 240sx/silvia has done well over the years
is this the new supra
I need an AWD! I hope Subaru does not change the exterior too much to make it look ugly. Most other cars are what I can ugly looking cars.
@ronmann606 Subie and Toyota anywhere other than America.
@ronmann606 Do you think they might go RWD for Scion and AWD for Subie
@kgibbyskate The word is that Subie will release this as RWD then later offer AWD and turbo models. Ya RWD creates a marketing dilemma but I think Subie’s customer understands the pros/cons of AWD VS RWD and they won’t need to contradict their current ‘AWD is better marketing’ to sell this car.
@ronmann606 So what is Subie going to do about their Marketing plan of having all AWD
With low power, light weight, good weight distribution, AWD isn’t necessary. I drive a base Impreza and the 160 hp doesn’t really make use of AWD unless you’re on the snow or popping the clutch. But I’m sure AWD will be optional at some point, it is a Subie
@kgibbyskate As of now it will be a Subie and a Scion.
@metring073
If they made an AWD version then the sales for the WRX n STI would drop. I understand their angle if you want a fun RWD car it’ll be available. Want more power n handling, then well they have that too.
I’m positively certain Subaru will build an STI ( AWD ) version. That has always been a Subaru signature.
WTF Subaru… really no AWD I am the most diehard Subi fan but I am dissapointed I thought I would never see the day. At least its got a boxer. But that doesnt make it ok. This sucks stop now and keep Subaru the way it was meant to be… with a boxer engine, and cliff climbing AWD!!!!!
The car does seems to carry a couple of Subaru bits like the wheels and ( square ) mirrors and if you look closely a slightly altered-shape front headlamps and rear tail lights .. but then it could just simply be a ploy to mislead us into thinking this is the Subie version. HHhhhmmm…
@WRXSubaru08 it doesnt look like a subie because its a toyota… tard… lol
@WRXSubaru08
since the start it seemed subaru were just supplying the engine. and yeah subaru should of left it completely to toyota to be honest.
That car is freaking ugly the whole design totally doesnt come close to a Subi design. Shame on you Subaru for joining with toyota.
So what label is it going to go under Subaru,Toyota, or Scion?
i wanna see it go sideways. when this comes out everybody’s gona be drifting it
@cllcn888 celica
a new celica!
wt is this going to be? the new fairlady?
