@CalabnuganSirdave no its just not a full size review or they woulda had a nissan titan, and the toyota tundra, they were comparing similar trucks, i dont see how a f150 with a 6.2l v8 is comparable to a 2.2l I4, know what i mean? of course not cuz youve been riding henry fords dead dick all day… if the f150 was there then they should have the chev silverado, gmc sierra, dodge ram. see where im going with this?
@Isaac0516 In every german Test the german car especially Vw is the winner. If you want a test telling you the truth watch anyone else but no german one.
anyway, that was complete bullshit. I had this choice last year, and test drove them all. ended up with the Navara. the Amarok was BY FAR the worst, piece of shit. just has no grunt at all. and fucking high prices in Germany, my Navara came to £18,500 with all the spec they have! VAT free though
@honda900000 i am from Croatia,so the size of streets are the same as in Germany.it is a little difficult to park so long car.and in coastal part of Croatia there are smaller streets, very narrow, and this year i went on holiday wacation with patrol, which has also 5.3m lenght and 1.9m broad, and it it was imposible to park it,or leave it on 5 minutes to go shoping…all pick-ups are more or less at the same size….10 cm longer or shorter is nothing.i drive my patrol easily,so don’t need ESP…
@Bare36 5,30m ist really big for Germany Our streets are much smaller than the streets at America, north or south. In Europe the claims are diffrent from America. I wrote only down, what the Autobild Tester said in the End of the Text. For a test the points, like no DPF or ESP are important, but in the every day life some other things are more important. The other Pick-Ups are reliably since years. So the Amarok wins the test but in every day life… We have to wait about the VW.
@honda900000 we all knew who is mostly the owner of autobild……vw…why is nissan to big for germany?I personaly drive Nissan Patrol,my friend has mazda bt 50(ford),140hp engine for pick up is more than enough power, and it is comfortable, older series were uncomfortable, and interior looks better than in hilux, hilux has longer ”radstand”,and lower groundclirense.about L200 i don’t know enything.I don’t think that amarok can be on first place…
Typisch Auto Bild egal was getestet wird man weiß immer wer am ende gewint ! VW !!! Kein Mensch will bei einem Pic up permanenten Allrad ! Der Amarok ist nur ein aufgeblasener Golf der mit einem echten Pic up nichts zu tun hat .
@Bare36 @Bare36 @Bare36 The Ford is the last. inefficent machine, no DPF or ESP, no comfort and a cheap dashboard. The Nissan is too big for Germany. VW and Nissan aren’t together the winners. The VW wins: best brakes, efficent BiTurbo Diesel, DPF and ESP are standard and only the VW meets the highest emission standard for Europe. Also he is the best Pickup for the street(drives like a car). That’s what the testers says. So VW wins, Nissan 2nd, L200 is third, Toyota 4th and the Ford loses
he he…amarok and navara on the 1-place…?i would give amarok on the laste place,it has 4-wheel drive, all the time.and normaly, such car would have a higer fuel-consuption,then 2-wd drive, and its more fun if you can turn off 4-wd drive.and how can amarok sare first place with navara, when it has a smallest transport capacity?,which by the way isn’t say here…navara has first place becaouse of most powerful engine, leather and navi…etc…my opinion is that ford pick up(mazda bt 50) is first!
i think most of the truck offer sedan driving feeling, but lets not forget that these truck are build for work and i think ranger and Toyota better suited for this task.
toyota always will be more reliable from any german pick up car.

@mrbobjim99 no because this is a german auto review!
@CalabnuganSirdave because this isnt a full sized truck comparison
What a biased review, the ford is the last placer and the VW is the winner! ofcourse german brand! hehehe why dont you bring in the F150?
@Isaac0516 In every german Test the german car especially Vw is the winner. If you want a test telling you the truth watch anyone else but no german one.

coloca em portugues !!! vlw
esse alemão parece ter 2,5 metros de altura! todas as pickups perto dele parecem reduzidas!
en español porfavor…..
Amarok, the most expensive, the least powerful, the lowest charge capacity
